Garden and Nursery

Welcome to Blue House!

My name is Olga Bondareva. I am an experienced traveler and plant collector. I look for new, rare and unusual plants and try to introduce them into garden culture. My first and main love is alpine garden, but other groups of garden plants are not outside of my interests. I am mostly interested in Gentians, Daphnes, Primulas and Saxifrages. Although Ferns (wood and rocky) are also my passion.

I have a country cottage, located 100 km to the east from Moscow, the capital city of Russia. I cultivate my plant collection and decorative garden over there.

I live in a very unusual and big country. It has many different climate zones and biotopes. There are a lot of beautiful mountains, forests and steppes here. Many plants native to our regions are not yet known to Russian and foreign gardeners. Therefore my colleagues and I explore different parts of Russia. We found and introduced such marvelous plants as Gentiana oschtenica, Daphne circassica, Daphne pseudosericea, etc.

I am a member of Moscow Gardeners Club and I have a lot of publications in Russian garden/botanical magazines.

Enjoy a virtual trip to Blue House!
